The role requires a nursing degree, Ohio RN licensure, and prior leadership experience. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing and participate in education, quality initiatives, and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years in a clinical setting with at least 1 year in leadership/management.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies and practices.
• Provide administrative support including scheduling, staffing, and budget management.
• Supervise daily nursing staff activities to ensure quality patient care and efficient resource use.
• Develop and evaluate education programs for nursing staff (orientation, in-service, continuing education).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient outcomes analysis.
• Foster communication and teamwork among nursing staff, physicians, and other professionals.
• Manage conflicts and resolve concerns promptly and fairly.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices that align with facility goals and objectives


• Provide administrative support to the nursing department, including scheduling, staffing, and budget management


• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care and efficient use of resources


• Develop, implement, and evaluate education programs for nursing staff, including orientation, in-service training, and continuing education


• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care outcomes analysis


• Foster effective communication and teamwork among nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals


• Manage and resolve conflicts and concerns in a fair and timely manner

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
