The position requires PA-licensed RN with leadership experience in long-term care, a commitment to quality care, and the ability to manage budgets and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with PA licensure and state practice standards.
• Experience in nursing leadership, preferably in long-term care.
• Strong clinical and managerial skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing day-to-day nursing operations.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement resident care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care to ensure quality and resident satisfaction.
• Participate in budget planning and management related to nursing services.
• Implement policies and procedures to enhance nursing care delivery.
• Provide leadership and support during emergencies or challenging situations.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain high standards of care.
• Serve as a resource for nursing staff regarding clinical practices and protocols.
