ADON DUTIES:

• Meet the nursing and medical needs of all residents
• Coordinate infection control measures
• Educate and train staff
• Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication across all levels of nursing staff
• Be on call 24 hours
• Plan and coordinate nursing services
• Maintain knowledge of nursing theory and practice
• Ensure accurate and timely medical records
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, and orienting new nursing staff
• Oversee daily staffing processes
• Maintain flexibility to address unpredictable needs

ADON REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Tennessee RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care
• Management experience preferred
• Staff education experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Evidence of leadership and supervision skills
• Flexible work hours required
