Job summary

Harmar Place, a skilled nursing facility in Marietta, OH, seeks a Full Time Assistant Director of Nursing to assist the DON in leading nursing services delivered to residents daily.

The role requires an Ohio-licensed RN or LPN with at least 1 year of supervisory/management experience in a Medicaid/Medicare certified facility, plus strong computer and communication skills. Equal opportunity employer with comprehensive benefits.

Job description

Harmar Place, a skilled nursing facility located in Marietta, OH, is seeking a Full Time experienced, energetic, strong, and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing to assist the DON in leading the exceptional nursing services that are delivered to our residents daily. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• Assist in the direction, coordination & evaluation of nursing care services provided to the residents.
• Implementing nursing services, objections and standards; resolving resident care issues.
• Ensuring compliance with all State & Federal guidelines.
• Ensuring all confidentiality and privacy rights of residents are observed & enforced.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents residing in the facility

The successful candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio and in good standing with the Board of Nursing
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care, long term care or geriatric supervisor and management experience in a Medicaid/Medicare certified facility
• Must have excellent computer and communication skills.
• Must be able to follow all established Federal, State and Local rules, regulations and guidelines.
