Job summary

Dart Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in maintaining quality of care in a long-term care setting. The role requires effective communication across nursing staff, on-call duties, and coordination of nursing services.

The ideal candidate will have an active RN license, at least 3 years in long-term care, and prior leadership experience. Flexible hours are expected to address patient and facility needs.

Qualifications

• Current State RN license required.
• Min. 3 yrs. exp. in Long-Term Care settings.
• 2 years of management experience preferred.
• 1-year staff education experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision.
• Flexible hours required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DNS with management responsibilities and in maintaining the quality of care.

• 24 hours on call

• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice
