Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead nursing operations and sustain high-quality resident care. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes staff support, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence across shifts.

You will collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans and ensure thorough documentation, staffing, and infection control in a dynamic long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board.
• Experience leading nursing teams in long-term care.
• Strong clinical judgment and regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support staffing needs on the floor as required.
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, PI and infection control.
• Manage nursing staff: hiring, training, evaluating and delegating.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date resident documentation.
• Develop individualized care plans with physicians and teams.
• Ensure access to equipment, supplies and care resources.
• Maintain infection control procedures and assessments.

We're seeking a dedicated and reliable Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team! This leadership role plays a vital part in ensuring quality resident care, staff support, and regulatory compliance. Success in this position requires dependability, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to multitask and collaborate in a dynamic environment.

Your Impact as an Assistant Director of Nursing

In this role, you will:

• Support Staffing Needs: Step in to assist floor staffing when needed

• Oversee Resident Care: Contribute to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs

• Manage Nursing Staff: Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs

• Ensure Accurate Documentation: Review and maintain up-to-date and accurate resident records

• Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans

• Support Staff Resources: Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources

• Uphold Infection Control: Conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures
