The Arboretum of Winnie seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead quality resident care, support staff, and ensure regulatory compliance. This clinical leadership role requires dependable, sound judgment and the ability to multitask in a dynamic setting.

You will oversee staffing, care planning, infection control, documentation, and staff development. A licensed RN in good standing is essential; prior geriatric or long-term care leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care leadership.

Responsabilités

• Support staffing needs and stepping in to assist floor staffing as needed.
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, performance improvement, and infection control programs.
• Manage nursing staff including hiring, training, evaluation, delegation, and scheduling within census and budget constraints.
• Ensure accurate documentation of resident records and care activities.
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and nursing teams.
• Ensure access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources for staff.
• Uphold infection control measures and conduct assessments.

We're seeking a dedicated and reliable Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team! This leadership role plays a vital part in ensuring quality resident care, staff support, and regulatory compliance. Success in this position requires dependability, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to multitask and collaborate in a dynamic environment.

Your Impact as an Assistant Director of Nursing

In this role, you will:

• Support Staffing Needs: Step in to assist floor staffing when needed

• Oversee Resident Care: Contribute to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs

• Manage Nursing Staff: Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs

• Ensure Accurate Documentation: Review and maintain up-to-date and accurate resident records

• Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans

• Support Staff Resources: Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources

• Uphold Infection Control: Conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures
