Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead and support evidence-based resident care. This role requires strong clinical judgment, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to coordinate across nursing teams and physicians.

The ADON will oversee staffing, care planning, and infection control initiatives while ensuring accurate documentation and staff development in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board.
• Proven leadership and management experience.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support staffing needs by stepping in to assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee resident care, contributing to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs.
• Manage nursing staff: hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate duties based on census and budget needs.
• Ensure accurate documentation by reviewing and maintaining up-to-date resident records.
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants.
• Support staff resources by ensuring timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Uphold infection control through assessments and effective measures.

In this role, you will:
