Job summary

EPIC Healthcare is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to help lead the clinical operations and ensure high-quality resident care. The ADON will supervise nursing staff, implement policies, and work with the Director of Nursing to drive performance and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a PA RN license, has at least two years in a nursing leadership role, strong geriatric care knowledge, and proven leadership and communication skills; proficiency with electronic health record

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in long-term care.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric nursing principles.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in computer documentation and electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in the overall management of clinical services.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coordinate and conduct staff training and development programs.
• Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive resident care.
