Job summary

South County Health Care Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead the nursing department and ensure high-quality resident care. You will oversee staff, develop policies, and collaborate on individualized care plans.

The role requires an unencumbered RN license with DON/ADON experience, strong leadership, and a focus on compliance, MDS/Care Plans, and behavior management support for residents.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Previous DON or ADON experience required.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and HIPAA.
• Experience with MDS/Care Plans and rehabilitation focus.
• Willing to work with behavior management residents and mentor staff.

We are currently seeking a Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON).

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversee aspects of the nursing department, including staff management and patient care
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
• Ensure adherence to resident rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to promote a positive work environment

Requirements:

• Strong Leadership and Supervisory Skills
• Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice with previous DON or ADON experience.
• Rehabilitation Focus, Wound Care Experience, Knowledge of Medicare A & B, Willing To Work With Behavior Management Residents
• Enjoy working with the Elderly, MDS/Care Plans, Willing to work 2 Weeks a Month, Previous CNA/CMT instructor certification and have excellent regulatory compliance record and commitments to TQM (Total Quality Management)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
  Familiarity with healthcare systems and regulations, including HIPAA compliance
