Chase City Health & Rehab in Chase City, Virginia is seeking an experienced RN to join our leadership team as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). You will work closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure clinical excellence, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

This key role oversees daily nursing operations, conducts rounds, mentors staff, coordinates education and QAPI activities, and collaborates with physicians, therapy, pharmacy, residents, and families.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Previous long-term care leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct clinical rounds and evaluate resident care needs.
• Supervisor, coach, evaluate, recruit, hire, and onboard nursing staff.
• Coordinate orientation, staff education, QAPI, and infection prevention activities.
• Investigate incidents and concerns in accordance with regulations.
• Review staffing, medication records, treatment records, and care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy, pharmacy, residents, and families.
• Assume DON responsibilities in the DON’s absence.
