Job description

RegalCare at Courtyard is a leading skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to our residents. We are committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment for both our residents and staff. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overseeing the nursing department's daily operations.
  2. Supervise nursing staff, ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Support the development and implementation of nursing care plans and ensure the quality of care provided to residents.
  4. Participate in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff.
  5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care and address any issues or concerns.
  6. Assist in developing and monitoring nursing budgets and resource allocation.
  7. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to nursing care.
  8. Serve as a leader and mentor within the nursing department, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications:

  1. Must hold a valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
  2. Previous nursing management experience is required, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
  3. Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and families.
  5. In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and regulations.
  6. Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents.
