Avantara Arrowhead is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our skilled team. You will oversee the Clinical Department, support attainment of Nursing Department goals, and help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The role focuses on delivering high standard of care to residents, fostering an inclusive culture, and developing staff, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement, bonus, 401K, and internal growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in science, Nursing or related field is required.
• Unencumbered South Dakota RN license is required.
• CPR Certification required; two years of RN experience minimum.
• Five years RN experience preferable, prior management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Clinical Department to ensure residents receive a high standard of care.
• Assist with setting and attaining Nursing Department goals and ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
• Help instill a positive and inclusive facility culture and mentor nursing staff.

As an Assistant Director of Nursing you are at the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect atAvantara Arrowheadby assisting with overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, assisting with setting and attaining Nursing Department goals, ensuring the nursing department is in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an associate's degree in science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered State of South Dakota Registered Nurse (RN) license, CPR Certification and two (2) years of RN experience. Prior experience managing a nursing department and five (5) years of RN experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
