Job summary

Legacy Healthcare is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for Avantara Arrowhead to lead the Clinical Department and uphold high standards of resident care. The role includes overseeing nursing operations, fostering a positive facility culture, and driving department goals while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's degree in nursing, an active SD RN license, CPR certification, and RN experience, with a preference for prior leadership.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, an associate's degree in science, Nursing or related field.
• An unencumbered State of South Dakota Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• CPR Certification.
• Two (2) years of RN experience.
• Prior experience managing a nursing department and five (5) years of RN experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Clinical Department to ensure high standard of care for residents.
• Help instill a positive and inclusive facility culture.
• Assist with setting and attaining Nursing Department goals and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.

As an Assistant Director of Nursing you are at the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect atAvantara Arrowheadby assisting with overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, assisting with setting and attaining Nursing Department goals, ensuring the nursing department is in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:
