Avantara Huron is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead a dedicated care team and ensure exceptional resident outcomes. The role focuses on supervising clinical staff, guiding practice, and upholding infection prevention and staffing standards to deliver quality care at the facility in Huron, South Dakota.

Qualified candidates will hold an unencumbered South Dakota RN license, CPR certification, and have at least 2 years of RN experience; 5 years in management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unencumbered SD RN license and CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; 5 years preferred in management.
• Experience managing a nursing department or unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of your assigned unit and ensure high standard of care.

As a Nurse Manager you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Huronby assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident's needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State ofSouth DakotaRegistered Nurse (R.N.) license, C.P.R. Certification, and two (2) years of R.N. experience. Prior experience managing a nursing department or unit and five (5) years of R.N. experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
