Job summary

Avantara Milbank is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join a friendly, caring and supportive team. You will oversee the Clinical Department and help ensure residents receive an unparalleled standard of care.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, an Associate's Degree in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered State of South Dakota RN license, CPR Certification and two years of RN experience.
• Prior experience managing a nursing department is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Clinical Department to maintain high standards of resident care.
• Assist with setting and attaining Nursing Department goals and initiatives.
• Ensure nursing operations comply with Federal, State and local regulations.
• Foster a positive and inclusive facility culture within the team.

As the Assistant Director of Nursing you are at the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Milbank by assisting with overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, assisting with setting and attaining Nursing Department goals, ensuring the nursing department is in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an Associate's Degree in Science, Nursing or related field, an unencumbered State of South Dakota Registered Nurse (R.N.) license, C.P.R. Certification and two (2) years of R.N. experience. Prior experience managing a nursing department and five (5) years of R.N. experience is preferable.
