Job summary

The Avalon of Bloomfield Township is seeking a hospitality focused LPN to join our team in Bloomfield, MI. This role provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises care by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.

Responsibilities include ADL support, monitoring resident conditions, updating care plans, reporting to Health Services, and coordinating with other disciplines. Current state-licensed LPN and availability for emergencies are required. EEO Employer.

• Monitor and adjust schedules to address call-outs and staffing needs.

The Avalon of Bloomfield Township is recruiting for a hospitality focused LPN to join our team! This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an LPN:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent life-style of residents.
• Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
• Monitor and adjust schedules in real time to address call-outs, late arrivals, overtime, and unexpected staffing needs.

Salary Range

$76,000-$80,000
