Job summary

Texas A&M University System's College Station-based Department of Student Activities seeks an Assistant Director to execute the department's development plan and oversee campus events and traditions.

You will lead donor cultivation activities, coordinate with the Texas A&M Foundation, supervise staff and student workers, and contribute to strategic planning while aligning with university priorities. Evening and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six years of relevant progressively responsible administrative or management experience in student affairs in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a department development plan.
• Lead donor cultivation, recognition, and communication activities.
• Oversee student organization development and advisement.
• Collaborate with the Texas A&M Foundation and Playfly Sports as needed.
• Supervise budgeted staff and oversee student workers.
