Job summary

State of Maryland, MDH, Office of Long-Term Services and Supports, seeks an Assistant Director to lead multiple divisions: Provider Integrity, Clinical Support, Enrollment and Service Review, and Nursing Services. The role directs operations, oversees contracts, and ensures compliance across Medicaid programs.

The position involves planning long-term care reforms, coordinating with CMS, and supervising division chiefs while managing performance and staff onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university.
• 6 years of professional health or human services experience.
• 2 years or more of experience working with a Medicaid program.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the functional operations for multiple divisions within OLTSS.
• Oversee FMCS contract implementation, oversight, and monitoring.
• Supervise the four division chiefs and ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Participate in long-term care reform planning and CMS collaboration.
• Support hybrid telework with office presence as directed.
