Job summary

Learning Care is hiring an Assistant Director to support the safe, effective operation of our school alongside the School Director. You will help promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children while ensuring compliance with state licensing and company standards.

The role requires leadership experience in a licensed childcare facility, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to recruit and retain quality staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Foster social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, develop, and retain quality staff; promote a positive image of the company.
