Job summary

Learning Care is seeking an Assistant Director to help ensure safe, high-quality operation of the school under the School Director, stepping in alone when the Director is unavailable.

You will foster a caring, educational environment for children and parents while ensuring compliance with state licensing standards and company policies. Collaboration with staff and ongoing growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, and in the Director’s absence, has sole responsibility for the school.
• Assist in promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
