Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, and has sole responsibility in the Director’s absence.
• Assist in promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Foster an educational, caring, safe environment for the children and parents.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
