The University at Buffalo School of Management invites applications for the Assistant Director for Graduate Recruitment. This role drives recruitment, admissions, and yield efforts from inquiry to enrollment, including managing outreach and relationships with prospective students, families, and partners.

Significant travel is a core component, with collaboration across faculty, marketing, and student services to support enrollment growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, higher education or related field is required.
• Two years of relevant experience in recruitment, admissions, enrollment, sales, or related field.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including domestic and international travel.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute recruitment strategies to support enrollment goals across graduate programs.
• Represent the School of Management at recruitment events, fairs, partner institutions, and conferences globally.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, families, agents, alumni, and partners.
• Provide personalized admissions advising through meetings, calls and follow-up outreach.
• Support campus visits, recruitment events, and admitted student yield initiatives.
• Manage prospect and applicant activity within Slate with accurate tracking and timely follow‑ups.
• Develop and oversee a graduate student ambassador program to enhance recruitment and engagement.
• Analyze recruitment trends and provide insights to improve strategy and outcomes.
• Collaborate with faculty, marketing and student services to support recruitment and enrollment.
