Job summary

The Waldorf Astoria Maui (Grand Wailea) is seeking an Assistant Director of Front Office to lead guest services, registration, and front desk operations on property with 780 rooms and extensive meetings space.

You will supervise team performance, implement service standards, monitor guest satisfaction, manage VIP requests, and collaborate with departments to drive occupancy and revenue while maintaining Hilton's renowned hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a luxury hotel/front office leadership role.
• Strong team management and coaching skills.
• Excellent guest service mindset and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing all Front Office operations including guest service, registration, room inventory and budgeting.
• Supervise and develop team members; schedule, counsel, and evaluate performance.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, address issues, and implement continuous improvements.
• Oversee VIP processes, reservations, amenities, rate changes, and guest requests.
• Promote marketing upselling to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, events, and policies.
• Run daily reports and analyze data to inform decisions.
• Recruit and train new team members.
