Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group seeks a dedicated dietary team member to assist in food service operations for a skilled nursing setting. You will support staffing, ordering, meal prep, delivery, and safety, ensuring quality nutrition daily.

Expect a collaborative environment with strong leadership and opportunities for professional growth. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and SERV Safe certification with Food Handler level II.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• SERV Safe certification with Food Handler level II or state-specific equivalent.
• Previous long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Previous cooking and supervisor experience preferred.
• CDM preferred.
• Must communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to carry out verbal and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Food & Nutrition Services Director in operating the Food Service Department.
• Staffing, food ordering, meal preparation, and food delivery.
• Ensure food safety and kitchen sanitation per policies and regulations.
• Supervise food service staff and ensure compliance with health standards.
