Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director for our Tutor Time Childcare centers in North Carolina. You will support the School Director to ensure safe, high-quality early childhood education and the smooth operation of the school daily.

The role emphasizes leading a caring team, complying with licensing standards, and driving a positive experience for children and families. Training and credential support are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 2+ years Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Associates Degree in ECE or related field preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• Must have the North Carolina Level 1, 2, or 3 credential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director and assume responsibility in the Director’s absence.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
• Foster an educational, caring, and safe environment for children and families.
• Recruit, supervise, and retain quality staff.
