Job summary

William Paterson University seeks an Assistant Director for the Office of Field Experiences and Partnerships to plan, implement, and continuously improve clinical experiences and partnerships within the College of Education.

Working with faculty, P–12 partners, clinical supervisors, and Professors in Residence, you will help ensure high-quality field experiences that prepare educator candidates for success in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years teaching experience with increasing responsibility.
• Demonstrated educational leadership and/or successful program management.
• Experience with school-university partnerships and program coordination.
• Understanding of New Jersey teacher certification programs (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and oversight of the Office of Field Experiences and Partnerships.
• Engage in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Coordinate clinical experiences and school-university partnership activities.
• Recruit, onboard and support clinical supervisors and Professors in Residence.
• Lead the Aspiring Educators Summer Program.
• Support accreditation and reporting efforts.
