Job summary

The State of Maryland Department of Human Services, St. Mary’s County Department of Social Services, seeks an Assistant Director of the Family Investment Administration Division.

This role sits on the Executive Team and leads coordination of family investment programs, compliance activities, and customer experience. You will supervise staff, collaborate with internal and external partners, and ensure service delivery in line with laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Eight years of administrative, professional or technical work experience.
• Three years of supervisory or program development responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration, oversight, and personnel management to the Family Investment programs.
• Directs, supervises and provides leadership to staff.
• Works collaboratively as a member of the Agency Executive Leadership Team.
• Monitors, reviews and supports quality assurance and improvement processes.
