This position serves as the Assistant Director for the Child Support Program and is a member of the Director's Executive Staff. This position is responsible for the establishment of goals, priorities, and policies, budgets, and performance standards for the Child Support Division. It is also responsible for the administration and oversight of the Child Support Program and compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Under the general direction of the Director, work is performed with wide latitude for independent action, management discretion and judgment. This position is responsible for recruitment, retention, discipline and evaluation of personnel. The position administers contracts with private and public sectors and administers the financial aspects of the office to include the collections and distribution of child support collections ($10.9 Million for FY24), and program operational budget.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: Nine years of experience in administrative, professional or technical work, four years must have involved supervision of other employees or exercising responsibility for program development.
