Job summary

Northampton Community College is seeking an Assistant Director for the Education Department to provide leadership, administration, and oversight of externally funded programs, workforce initiatives, and student services under the Education Department.

The role focuses on grant and contract administration, funding eligibility, and compliance, with supervision of staff supporting credentialing and funded initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, higher education, business administration, public administration, organizational leadership, or related field.
• Experience in grant, contract, or externally funded program administration; budgeting and reporting.
• Progressive experience in higher education or education administration with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Administer externally funded Education Department programs, grants, contracts, and workforce initiatives.
• Oversee funded-student life cycle, including eligibility, enrollment, and compliance.
• Manage grant/contract requirements, reporting, and deliverables.
• Oversee financial administration, invoicing, budgeting, and analyses.
