Job summary

Northampton Community College seeks an Assistant Director, Education Department to lead externally funded programs, grants, and workforce initiatives. You will oversee funding compliance, reporting, and partnerships with PASSHE, PHMC, and other funders.

The role supervises staff supporting credentialing and funded initiatives, ensures accurate records, and coordinates with Academic Advising, Finance, Grants, and Workforce Development to expand educational opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education, higher education, business administration, public administration, organizational leadership, or related field.
• Experience in higher education, education administration, workforce development, or grant administration.
• Strong budgeting, invoicing, financial tracking, reconciliation, and reporting skills; ability to manage multiple projects and funding streams.

Responsibilities

• Administer externally funded Education Department programs, grants, contracts, and workforce initiatives.
• Oversee funded-student lifecycle including eligibility, enrollment, and compliance.
• Manage grant and contract requirements, deliverables, timelines, and reporting.
• Oversee financial administration including invoicing, budgeting, and analyses.
• Maintain program records across Workday and funding systems.
