The role includes implementing orientations, expanding participation, campus outreach, risk management, and working with faculty on new programs. Travel, evenings, and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, and one year of professional experience in a study abroad office.
• Master's degree preferred in International Education, Higher Education, or related field.
• Four years of professional experience in education abroad recommended.
• One year of supervisory experience in international higher education.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as advising manager for all education abroad programs and related options.
• Meet with departments to conduct annual program review and evaluation.
• Oversee pre-departure orientation, re-entry programs, and Education Abroad events.
• Administer application and registration procedures for designated programs.
• Maintain office websites, databases, and recruitment literature for programs.
• Supervise Education Abroad staff and interns and advise students on opportunities.
• Process grades and coursework records for non-faculty-led programs.
