Job summary

Learning Grove in Cincinnati, OH seeks a dedicated staff member to support the Director in day-to-day operations of the Early Learning center. The ideal candidate will hold a CDA (with supervisory experience) or higher in child development, possess First Aid/CPR certification, and pass required background checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, and write English.
• CDA with supervisory experience or higher degree in child development.
• Current First Aid/CPR Certification.
• Ability to lift and meet physical demands as required.
• Clear CAN Check and Criminal Background Check; TB testing compliant.

Responsibilities

• Teacher in classroom at least 4 hours daily.
• Maintain safe, healthy learning environments.
• Assist enrollment of children into the program.
• Ensure licensing/NAC standards compliance.
• Coordinate childcare components of the center.
• Prepare for staff meetings; participate in trainings.
• Assist director with administrative duties as assigned.
• Mentor and supervise childcare staff in classroom settings.
• Observe teachers and recommend improvement methods.
• Ensure PD Plans reflect training experiences; support parent conferences.
• Assist with transitions within and out of the program.
