Job summary

Chroma Early Learning Academy in Duluth, GA is seeking an experienced Childcare Center Assistant Director to lead daily operations, support teachers, and ensure high-quality learning environments while meeting Georgia Bright from the Start licensing requirements. You will coach staff, manage enrollment, partner with families and the community, and oversee safety, schedules, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of center leadership/management experience preferred; at least one year required.
• Professional teaching experience with infants to preschool children preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, hire, and train staff; build talent networks.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage curriculum alignment with brand standards and budgeting.
• Lead enrollment tours and communicate with families about progress.
• Ensure health, safety and licensing compliance.
• Maintain records and coordinate schedules to meet ratios.
