Job summary

Chroma Early Learning Academy is seeking an experienced Childcare Center Assistant Director to oversee daily operations and lead staff development while maintaining high-quality care. You will drive enrollment growth and build strong relationships with families and the community while ensuring Georgia Bright from the Start licensing compliance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to excellence in early childhood education and program quality.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of center leadership/management experience.
• Professional teaching experience with infants to preschoolers is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Leads staff, conducts observations and evaluations to motivate learning and ensure curriculum alignment with brand standards.
• Manages enrollment processes, family communications and community relationships.
• Ensures licensing compliance, safety standards, and accurate record-keeping.
• Maintains staff files, training compliance and center budgets/labor alignment.
