Bright Horizons Family Solutions, LLC. in Atlanta, GA seeks a Child Care Assistant Director to partner with the Center Director, guiding daily operations, supporting educational programming, mentoring teachers, and building relationships with families to ensure high standards of care, learning, and safety.

The role requires leadership experience in high-quality child care settings and a strong knowledge of licensing, health, and safety requirements, with in-person work in the Atlanta area.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher degree in early childhood education, education, or child development; bachelor's preferred.
• At least two years of leadership experience in child care/preschool settings.
• Strong understanding of center quality, compliance, health and licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Uphold mission, culture and values to foster inclusive environment and strong relationships with families, staff and clients.
• Monitor program quality; ensure children's learning is documented and visible.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, health & safety standards and company policies.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements per state agency; report suspected child abuse or neglect to the agency.
