Required Master’s in Anthropology/Archaeology, 10+ years in cultural resources management with leadership experience, and strong regulatory expertise. Salary range $130,000–$145,000 with hybrid/remote options and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field required.
• Ten+ years of experience in cultural resources management, with at least 5 years in supervisory/leadership roles (Great Basin region preferred).
• Ability to lead a diverse team of professionals and develop business relationships with new clients.
• Expertise in applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Experience managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor project managers and staff, ensuring effective workload distribution.
• Serve as Project Manager and/or Principal Investigator on cultural resources projects for a variety of clients.
• Identify operational process failures and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with editors to manage workload and ensure timely reports.
• Train staff in project management procedures and software systems.
• Plan resource allocation and monitor utilization rates for projects.
• Maintain client relations and identify new opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to technical review processes and quality standards.
