Qualifications

• Degree in Early Childhood Education (CDA/TCC/Assoc or higher) preferred.
• Previous childcare or early childhood education experience.
• Leadership, supervisory, or childcare administration experience a plus.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must pass background checks.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Center Director with daily operations and administrative responsibilities.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to teachers and childcare staff.
• Coordinate staff schedules and classroom coverage to maintain appropriate teacher-to-child ratios.
• Support licensing, health and safety standards, and center policies in Georgia.
• Assist with staff onboarding, training, and professional development.
• Monitor classrooms and support teachers with classroom management and daily routines.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, developmentally appropriate environment for children.
• Communicate professionally with parents, guardians, teachers, and staff.
• Maintain accurate child, staff, attendance, licensing, and operational records.
• Address parent and staff questions or concerns professionally and promptly.
• Support enrollment, center tours, and family inquiries.
• Step into classrooms and provide coverage when necessary.
• Oversee center operations in the Director’s absence.
