Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to ensure the safe, effective operation of the school alongside the School Director. In the Director’s absence, you’ll have sole responsibility for the school’s day-to-day operations and for promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

You will be accountable, responsible, creative, positive, and team-oriented, helping to recruit and retain quality staff while supporting a caring environment for families.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school in partnership with the School Director.
• In Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school’s operations.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Foster a caring, safe environment for children and parents.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
