Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director to oversee the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director. In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school and assists in promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 2 years of Assistant Director experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Associates degree in ECE or related field preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• North Carolina level 1, 2, or 3 credential required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school is operating in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
• Foster an educational, caring, safe environment for the children and parents.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company.
