Role Overview

The Associate Director of Category Management will be a key member of our commercial team, managing two teams (Deli and Dairy Category Management). Reporting to the VP/Sr Director of Category, Strategy & Portfolio, this role involves strengthening relationships with various VPs and the President, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Inspire, coach, and develop direct reports through regular meetings and training.
• Establish trust with key customer and retailer Dairy Department Leadership.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to Sales VPs of Deli and Dairy.
• Champion the future vision of the Category/Department, aligning with various business units.
• Manage vendor relationships and budgets to maximize ROI.
• Coordinate with Global Insights & Category teams for reporting and strategic planning.
• Promote a safe and healthy work environment.
• Travel and work extended hours as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 7-10 years of related experience.
• Previous management experience.
• Expertise in Syndicated Data, Panel Data, Loyalty Card Data.
• Ability to travel over 25% of the time.

Skills & Knowledge

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with retailer platforms like Gateways, dunnhumby/Luminate, 84.51.
• Knowledge of the U.S. Retail Landscape.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $175,000
