Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) and Massachusetts state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with inter-professional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the department and guide supervisory staff on scheduling and problem resolution.
  • Supervise trainees and coordinate clinical supervision with senior staff.
  • Advise on clinical program development, policies, and practice guidelines.
  • Identify and arrange educational opportunities aligned with department goals; participate in clinical research.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement programs and department manuals.
  • Communicate program information to physicians and professionals regarding care and services.
