Job summary
Ascend Rehab Services is seeking an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Specialist / Speech-Language Pathologist for an in-person role in California. Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and CCC-SLP credential.
- CA State SLP License is required.
- Experience or coursework in AAC is preferred.
- Experience with AAC devices and platforms is valued.
Responsibilities
- Conduct AAC assessments to evaluate patients' communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized AAC plans for each patient.
- Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to support students in school settings.
- Provide training to families and caregivers on AAC device usage.
- Stay updated on AAC technologies to enhance patient care.
