Job summary

The UConn Foundation is seeking an Assistant Director of Events to lead planning and execution of fundraising and alumni events, including donor stewardship and signature programs. The role focuses on strengthening relationships with alumni and donors and collaborating with internal teams.

You will manage budgets, timelines, vendor contracts, registrations, and data reporting, using tools like Blackbaud Raiser's Edge and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute events start to finish, including budgets, timelines, vendors, invitations, RSVPs, sponsorships, and committees.
• Directly impact stewardship, cultivation, and engagement through events and programs.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal staff, leadership, and external constituents.
• Ensure events comply with Foundation policies and guidelines.
• Manage registration data, nametags, pre-event communications, and post-event reconciliation.
• Collaborate across levels of the organization.
• Capture and report event data using Raiser's Edge, Excel, and data analysis.
• Create and manage event pages using digital tools when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
