Job summary

The UConn Foundation in Storrs, CT, seeks a Digital Engagement Specialist to lead the Foundation's event and auction technology platforms and optimize digital engagement across fundraising and alumni initiatives.

You will partner with Programming Services, Alumni Relations, Gift Processing, Athletics, and other teams to configure platforms, automate communications, maintain documentation, and support data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years experience in Engagement, Platform Management or System Analyst.
• Experience with digital engagement platforms and training/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead for the Foundation's event and auction technology platform and serve as primary internal consultant.
• Partner with Programming Services to establish governance, configurations and training resources.
• Support event registration, communications, reporting and constituent experience improvements.
• Operationalize online registration to ensure data integrity between event platform and CRM.
• Develop standards for setup, data collection, workflows, and post‑event engagement.
• Document workflows, SOPs and user guides.
• Coordinate with web/email/crowdfunding/direct response for consistent constituent experiences.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce friction for internal stakeholders.
• Manage marketing automation workflows across email and digital platforms.
• Support engagement journeys, automated communications, nurture campaigns and triggered messages.
• Support audience segmentation, data quality and list management.
• Collaborate with Digital Marketing on email campaigns for donor cultivation and engagement.
• Support tracking, data collection and reporting.
• Monitor and optimize automated communications for a seamless donor experience.
