Job summary

Virginia Tech's College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences seeks an Assistant Director of Alumni and Donor Relations to advance engagement and stewardship strategies. You will assist with event logistics, planning, and execution, and serve as the program lead on select events, working with the CLAHS Advancement team to develop a stewardship action plan.

The role requires collaboration with University Advancement and other units, with occasional evening/weekend work and travel to engagement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and executing special events or engagement programs.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends and travel as needed.
