Virginia Tech's College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences is seeking an Assistant Director of Alumni and Donor Relations in Blacksburg. You will support engagement and stewardship strategies, assist with event logistics, and serve as the lead on select programs, strengthening bonds with alumni, donors, students, and friends of the college.

You will collaborate with University Advancement and CLAHS Communications to implement a stewardship plan and advance institutional goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and executing events or engagement programs.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented team environment.
• Experience using a variety of software tools, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
