Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking an Assistant Director in Florida to oversee daily school operations alongside the School Director, ensuring safety and quality for children and families. This role also assumes sole responsibility in the Director’s absence and contributes to the school’s social, physical, and intellectual development.

Ideal candidates bring leadership experience in licensed childcare and meet Florida state education requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director and for achieving Learning Care Group’s safety vision.
• In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school.
• The Assistant Director assists in promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

Job Requirements:
