Job summary

La Petite Academy in Florida seeks an Assistant Director to help run the school safely and effectively with the School Director. The role emphasizes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children and a high standard of care for families.

You will ensure the center complies with licensing standards, recruit and retain quality staff, and foster a positive, engaging learning environment. Training and credential assistance are provided along with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent; must meet state education requirements.
• Florida Background Screening required; contingent employment.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
