Job summary

Learning Care Group in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking an Assistant Director to help run a safe, engaging school. You will work with the School Director to promote children's social, physical, and intellectual growth and supervise daily operations.

In the Director's absence you will have sole responsibility for the school, including promoting a caring, educational environment, recruiting and retaining quality staff, and helping ensure profitability and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school is operating safely and effectively with the School Director.
• In the Director's absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company and ensure licensing standards are met.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group's safety vision. In the Director's absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
